Since Malmaison acquired this hotel in Brighton Marina it has been refurbished inside and out. We had the opportunity to modernise the exterior areas, we painted the railings and balcony supports with a specialist anti corrosion paint in a modern grey finish. We then took up the existing timber decking which had been down for 14 years and replaced it with Envirobuilds Hyperion Frontier Decking. With its 25-year guarantee and great slip resistance rating this solid composite board was perfect for the job. It was simple to work with and the finished result looked amazing! We installed some deck lights for added affect and now the terraces are ready for the summer.

Stage 2 of this project is linking the 3 main terraces up with new steel work and then more composite decking and a contemporary spiral staircase. We have also been commissioned to create timber modular furniture look like concrete. This will involve three ‘U’ shaped sofas and a bar to sit at with coordinating seating to look out over the marina.
